Questions

Is it possible to make your own custom turbo set up for a 13b from a gsl-se using a t2 manifold and turbo components?

What all would be involved?
Thanks

yea it is, you need the following
inner cooler-junk yard just find one that fits
turbo- ssualy a second gen stock works great b/c you can't run high psi
-TurboII upper and lower intake- have to machine the lower intake to match the ports on the gsl-se block
-turbo II exhaust manifold
-Custom exhasut
-BOV-i'm gona use a 92 eclipse BOV
-oil line for the turbo-works great by getin teh adapter that goe under the fitler for a oil preasure unit. just hook a braided steal line to it
-intake pluming- i can not stress how much PVC is wrong for this. when PVC gets heated up, which it will being hooke to the turbo, it lets of toxic fumes. IE unclean air. this ges into the engine and doesn't burn. meaning less power
-after market ECU for staying fuel injected. 4 GSL-SE injectors work great. 2 injectors won't be enough and will starve the engine. make it run lean and lean means hot.

just a little hit to all of you who are doin turbo setups or who just want to keep the engine cooler. COATINGS ARE YOUR GOD! black satin from summit racing is grea for coating the intake, exhaust, each half of the turbo seperatly, intake plumping. when you coat the part, you must take it off and coat the entire peaice except the insides. that meand the flanges too. you coat the flanges so heat wont transfer from part ot part. i can't tell you how much this helps engine perofrmance, gas milage, and how much smoother it runs. the stuff is 20 bucks for 4 oz. but tus worth every penny. especialy with turbo setups whn the car will be running warmer.
