I have two scratches in my front windshield. There both about ¼ wide and a 1½ long, they are not deep there are from the wiper blade. Has any one ever fixed a window scratch? I know the have a type of wax and a spray out there that is said to take out scratches. My only other option is taking it to a auto glass dealer and have them buffed out and that will be around 35. It’s not even a guaranty that buffing them out will work; they even told me that with the heat of the buffer I have a chance of ruining the window.
I would just ignore them but they’re right in my view and its very annoying.

What should I do?

 

If it interferes with your field of vision, do it. If it doesn't work, replace it.

I should get that kit. I was grinding in the shop and didn't cover the windshield. Those little sparks left pits all over my perfect windshield.

 

well that sucks, if you do buy it tell us if it works. i was always interested in getting it but didn't
