windshield washer pump not working? Help

windshield washer pump not working? Help

My winshield washer pump is not working, any suggestions, i took out the tank and cleaned it no hles or anything. Not sure what else to check any guidlines??

Check fuses and stuff. Make sure its plugged in and has a good connection.

remove the motor from the reservoir and see if it's seized or test it with 12 volts. if it's broken you can get a replacement with ease at an Auto parts store.

Yup...brownmound is right on.. or you can get one *free* at your local junkyard while you are *shopping*..and pray it works like I did...

My solution: take out the reservoir and clean otu the engine bay. Reduces wieght (by ounces!!!) and cleans up the look a lot.

check fuses, fusable link maybe,bad motor, what ever
it all else go to J yard pull it ofrf another rx7
get it there it cheep or even free

I'm using an RX4 washer tank and pump, presently. Fits perfectly.

I was thinking about taking my washer motor and mounting the sprayers right in front of the radiator for auto-x season and spray water on it too cool it down. Since it does'nt work with power in the engine bay I might run it seperately from the battery or put another battery in it to run it.

Interesting idea, but it may not be legal, depending on the class you run in.
