Windshield washer problem

Did a search for Windshield Washer and had no luck.
Who has had this problem? Washer tank in the front full,
the rear bag full, front and rear squirts the washer fluid but the red light on the dash is on.
Wanted to ask before I started to remove items due to this might be a common problem.

I think the sensor is for the front w/w fluid reservoir. My rear reservoir has been empty for a long time (because I don't use the rear w/w), but the light doesn't come on until the front reservoir gets low on fluid, so that's where the sensor must be.. could be an electrical connection problem?

So,,your washers work fine, it's just the light on dash
that bugs you ?? check the plug at the washer bottle.
I never knew the dash had a light for the washer, when it's low,,Huh ?

If you unplug the sensor at the tank the light will go out.

And, if the tank is full and the light goes out--then the sensor is bad or stuck.

I will try this. And to answer a earlier question.......
Yes, that light being on drives me nuts. Just found out that when you have a tail light out the light on the dash comes on also. This car (85GSL-SE) has some options that cars today don't have. Make me feel like it is a high class car. HA

It's a good thing I don't have that light I would have to rip it out the moment it came on!
