IMO. Just make sure you get the CORRECT AMPERAGE.

Good Idea, Imma do this mod tomorrow. Better than jacking all the ones at the yard.

Till I do the 2nd gen upgrade.

Good Luck

Um, good luck finding fuses larger enough for those. You need like two 30s and a 50 or something like that, I used two 40s and a 60 when I swapped mine out. They make actual replacement fuses that plug in there, take those back and get the right thing.

EDIT: If you WERE to use them, you would just need to add female spade terminals to them to plug each end in, then put the right size fuse in the holder.

No, those are fuses, not fusable links. A fusable will absorb a surge (when lights get turned on etc) where a fuse will not. The fuse will work if you go to a higher amperage but that can be risky in it's own way as well. Buy bulk fusable link, get the bulk ends, a soldering iron and make your own.

I believe the Rx-7 fusible link problem is mostly due to poor connection(s) and degradation and not the links themselves being bothersome. I know my few run-ins have always been connection related. I agree with 84 stock: stay with fusible link material and just mod the connectivity.

Great! We don't have a Pep Boys around here, so I was hoping AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts would have it. How do you specify what you want?

Thanks,
Rich
