Still here, have been really busy lately with:

- Finishing my diploma in logistics, thus making me a logistic engineer! Yeah me!
- Working 50+ hours a week at work, making money for the car..
- Dismanteling the SA as a donor, selling the engine and finding somebody that can help me making an exact copy of the bodykit
- Receving my taxes back, plus my holiday money ( i live in Norway, we get 10 percent of last years salary every june) and BLOWING THEM ALL AWAY ON A ORIGINAL 12A TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mohaaaa!!

 

I am on here all the time, just don't always feel like posting, especially since my car is having no problems right now. So I come on read a bit and see what's up then go. Though I will say I am doing a rear end swap later on this summer along w/ some suspention work.

I have noticed it quieting down also. Its weird too, because the other day there were more people in the first gen forum than there were in the 2nd gen forum. I dont think I have ever seen that. It was during the day also.

I have noticed what Sterling is getting at...

There are a number of people you could count on posting with good solid advice when you had a problem, that contingent seems to be deindeling.

I do think it has alot to do with what PeeJay said in the second post about what wing to choose or some eqauly inaine question.

It would appear that the forum, and FB owners are shifting their focus form "Go Fast" to "Look Fast", that is resulting in us "Go Fast" purests being left out in the cold...

As a result there is nothing for the Gurus to comment on so they don't post, and eventually stop comming to the forum at all because there is nothing of interst to them...

Just some thoughts on what is happening...

Actually, I'm spending far too much time here: sitting in bed at 8AM with the laptop, forumming, playing bridge, watching HDTV on the 32" TV, drinking coffee. Generally goofing off. I should be replacing the radiator and hoses on the 85GSL, solving the starter problem on the SE, getting the 83 repainted, etc. Then there's the backlog of work to do on the REPU. And I should add about 10 feet to the OTA HDTV antenna and add a topside preamp. Maybe I need more projects: maybe I'll get a boat. Maybe I better wait 'til I finish renovating this house. Maybe I should fly to France for a couple weeks with my wife at her house in Aveyron. Maybe I should visit my son in Minneapolis.

Think I'll get another cup of coffee and a bowl of yogurt. I gotta figure out my schedule.

roger dodger that. Got married young. Now I feel so old since my son is taking driver's ed. In process of installing a stock 12-A with RX-2 carb (small jets) for the FB so he can practice driving a stick shift. Saving the 13-B streetport/turbo for later on. Besides, I still got the RX-3. Cant wait to take him to track.

Could it be that all us old timers (I think I barely qualify) have finally worked all of the bugs outa our cars and just dont have new topics. That we cant find with a search.
