Where to get 1982 GSL rear rotors

So I’ve bought new rear rotors from rock auto (Centric) and from O’Reillys (brakebest). And both of them have been the wrong rotors. They don’t have the step down on the inside of the rotor that makes it tight on the hub. I took my original rotors into O’Reillys because I thought they could clean them up but they ruined them. Where can I get rear rotors that would fit?

Racing Beat, MazdaTrix. I'm surprised you've been getting the wrong rotors, are you sure you're giving them the correct info? (Year, trim, etc). Are they loose without that "step"?

Yeah I have been getting them the correct trim. 1982 GSL. Other trims should have drum brakes. Also this is the only part that O’Reillys shows for any 1st gen rx7. It is still really loose and impossibly to center up on the hub.

I just looked at their website and like you said, they show the same model rear discs for all 1st gens, including GSL-SE which are larger with a different bolt pattern. O'Reilly isn't gonna be a great source.

I bought a pair of those rockauto centric rear rotors too, like Eric says, they don't fit on the hub.

I only paid about $15 each for them, not worth returning (rockauto makes you pay return shipping costs).

I've got them in storage, if I need them someday when GSL rear rotors are no longer available I think they can be milled fairly easily to make them fit.

I bought the Centric brand GSL-SE rotors from RB and they fit perfect. about $40 a piece but I don't expect to ever replace them. Heck I'm replacing the discs/pads on my Forester this weekend and they're quite a bit more money.
