Where does the vac line that connects to the mitsubishi device go?

So I pulled the carb hat, then i see another vac line hanging loose...

I cant find ANY ports for it to go into, it was sitting as if it went into the carb hat but it never has so im kinda stumped, it sucks alil air when the engines on, now my engines running funky as hell

ill go search the fsm, god i hate these vac lines n ****

FSM wont help for crap, I cant even find the round black device (inbetween the rats nest and carb) with the mitsubishi symbol, it has a line connecting to it, the main rats nets stuff (metal lines) and it has a 3 way thing so theres

hose>----|---- <hose
^ hose goes off in the middle, thats the one im lost on where it connects too, theres no missing lines

Its a circle plastic device about a inch in diameter...black with wires coming out of the top... has the triangle mitsu logo...

It has one vac line out of it...

Anyways does the butterfly valve have two vac lines? near a big screw on the carb (air fuel mixture?) I see under all the vac lines over there too.... I see 1 big vac line the one you plug to stop the annoying failed butterfly valve sound.

heh I have no camera, if you guys can post a pic of the rats nest drivers side view i can circle what i mean

or you could look at the first couple pages in the FSM where things are labeled.

sometimes its dumb, but you say carb hat, we say air cleaner

if you are talking about this:

its simply called the "vacuum switch" and detects intake manifold vacuum and opens between 0-4.7 inHg per the FSM. inHG is translated into inches of mecrury where the HG is a unit of measurement for pressure. to help confuse you more and break it down, 1 inHg = .491098 psi. ok, to simplify and answer your question, its a vacuum switch, lol

no, it does not stop your engine from condensation. a poor pcv system and a faulty seal on the oil cap can cause that nasty white buildup on the underside of the oil cap and on the inside of the oil fill tube.
