where is it located?is that under the storage bins? i think the emissions computer is located back there and im pretty sure that isnt for the factory amp.

If you're talking about the yellow/orange connectors, they go to the engine harness. Alternator, carb, emissions, etc. Identified as X-07 and X-08 in the wiring diagram.

If it is an SE then it goes to the injection stuff. If not then it is Auto trans stuff.

I don't think this is right. I just redid my wiring harness and removed all unnecessay wires and plugs. I'm pretty sure these are connectors X-07 and X-08 and connect to things like all the emmissions solenoids, the carburettor controls, and the alternator.

Maybe I misread your post. I don't know anything about the SE or the automatics, so this could be true for them.

Could be, But I have only seen the passenger side plug on those two cars.

you are right. its the wiring for the motor and carb. found the harrness thanks alot.

i think 84 or 85 not really sure. i just got it and i dont have the title yet. i havent even looked in the door jam. im not really a FB man. dont get me wrong i like them but its going to be my daily driver to help keep the miles off the FD.

2 of the wires go to the oil pressure sender and water temp on spark plug side of engine block. kindove important. if you need i can look at my car and tell you what colors go to what.
