What's Missing?
Forgot to ask what im missing here. car runs fine and have had no issue other than feathering the throttle (or choking) when cold starting for about 45secs. then it runs fine, idles fine, pulls fine. just curious.

lines on the vaccuum? not sure where they go or if its hurting anything.

inbetween the oil cooler and radiator. not sure what they go to...

capped off?

theres another open plug by the headlamp. but theres no way this cable could reach that one...
thank you in advance.

2nd pic is the connection for the auto trans cooler lines; means you probably have an aftermarket radiator. Unless you have an automatic trans, nothing goes there.
The last is just a heat shield that can have a corrugated tube attached which goes to the air
cleaner. Helps with cold starts if the flapper in the stock air cleaner is working correctly.
Surprised you missed that one DD
The first picture is a mystery because its the rats nest or as I like to call it the Rays nest.
Ray (ray_green) can probably tell us what it is.

I thought he was asking about the electrical connector, not the heat stove riser.
I think it may go to the vacuum-power-valve solenoid on those cars that have them, which is mainly auto-trans builds and early Cali-spec manuals, but haven't had time to check & didn't want to give wrong info.

If this is a 1984/1985 engine, then something isn't right with the first two vacuum solenoids in the first picture. They are pointing the wrong direction. Looking at the FMOC, this is probably not a 1984/1985 engine. The picture I posted is a 1985. Not sure if the solenoids are the same.

I couldn't find the service manual but I did find the parts manual for the '82 and it does show the first four solenoids (as viewed from the front of the engine) pointing towards the carb. So this means yours are on correctly. As far as the missing vaccum hose, the picture in the parts manual wasn't detailed enough to tell.

The first picture of the vacuum lines - the top one (nearest the carb) connects to the idle compensator under the air filter
I can't quite make out the other hose. It probably connects to one of the electric vacuum solenoids.
As mentioned there should be a picture under your hood of the vacuum hose diagram.
