I'm about to do an 8.8 swap, drag stars and do and tub extension on my FB. I will take pics when it happens.

Well, I'm going to start chopping on mine next weekend. I'd just like to know if I can keep the stock frame rails or if I'll need to go ahead and back half it.

Well, I found out that I can run a 28/10.5/15W with a minitub and without notching the frame rails.

13.1 inch wide sidewall width.

Can you post any pics of the wheel wells please?

Do you know what offset or backspacing the wheels are?

any info would be great, it's pretty hard to go fast on an 8.5" slick.

Well, since you'll be mini-tubbing the car and narrowing your rearend.......... you can go with any combo you want. I'm personally using 15X10 wheels with a 2.8 inch backspace.

It was a corolla, but yeah. I ditched that project last weekend. I came into a pretty good deal on a 81. Since all the parts I've bought aren't corolla specific, I can use the 4 link, coilovers, wheels, rearend blah blah blah for the 81. I'll probably need to get the rearend and axles shortened again, though.

I'm pretty excited.

That wheel stance in the rear does look rather nice...
