kind of a pain to fill both of them..

Involves taking those bottles with the tapered ends.. cutting off the tips and squeezing it in through a hose.

Unless you wanna rig up a little pump.. with compressed air or whatnot.. I believe thats the only way

*make sure the fill plug isn't seized before draining!*

Just buy a little hand pump at an autostore for a few bucks. Use any gear oil you want in 75-90,80-90, or 75-140.

A good trick is to open the fill plug BEFORE the drain plug. If you mess up getting the fill plug off, at least you'll still have fluid in the thing.

And as to how you fill it, just get a handpump from autozone/kragen/pepboys or wherever.

^ +1. Ditto.

Also, take the side drain plug off the tranny first to ensure nothing goes wrong. Then, work on the drain plug. Same for the diff. And, you can get a decent hand pump from any autoparts store for $10. Well worth the investment.

Some members have stated that they use the quart bottles with the tips you cut off then get a long piece of hose and put the one end in the trans. Then take the other end into the engine bay so that it is high enough for gravity feed and squeeze the bottle.
