What spark plugs do you use?

Random thought from a recent thread started. Let's get a poll going for what plugs you use, and what part number they are.

im still using the denso's that came in the car when i bought it from the previous owner six months ago. they need changing bad. I changed them out once to a set of plugs the parts store SAID were the champion equivalents to the densos. it ran great for about a mile and then ran like ***. pulled the champions out and the ends of the plugs were melting. clearly they were NOT rotary plugs, so back to the old denso's I went, lol.

I've switched to using Denso plugs because they are quite a bit less expensive than NGK's and are just as good, pretty much the same plug. $6-$7 each for the NGK plug is too much to pay, the last set of Densos I purchased cost $5.25 for a set of four including tax (Autozone).

Those were old posts. Things have changed now that we are in the Great Recession. Spending $7.00 on a spark plug because urban legend says that NGK's are best is no longer cool.

Give those Denso's a look guys, you'll be surprised and pleased. My last set was $5.25 for four:

Try $32 each for some 115's from Mazdacomp. Those and the 105's are the only thing that will survive at the track with a bridgeport. In a pinch I had some of those four prong plugs once and melted the prongs back until they wouldn't spark anymore.

the rx-8 plugs last in big bridgers, Ray keeps preaching the denso's and I agree they'll work great in a stock port or mildly modded car, but i've run them in my car and had **** loads of misfires. That's why people who temd to make big power numbers use ngk plugs.

Yes high performance cars may require higher performance plugs but most of us are driving stock or mildly modded 7's so I still think the Denso's are a good way to save some money to put towards that full RB exhaust system. Or pay for beer if you already have your RB system.

Perhaps we need another poll on what's the best plug for performance rotaries? (this one says nothing about performance so we should assume we are talking stock here).

And maybe one more poll on electric vs clutch fans?

I love this stuff.

Also, Carter had it all over the Bushes and Reagans who put America in this hole. All Hail Obama!
