what size tubing is used for oil cooler lines?

what size tubing is used for oil cooler lines?

i have the ability to get oil cooler lines made for free, but it all depends on what size line they are. anyone have any idea? thanks.

I cant remember exactlly but i think its -10. if not, check the RB catalog. I know you said tube but using the SS braided lines will give you a better idea.

It's not larger than 1/2". You can braze a 1/2" barb on the stock tubing.

I'm going with -8 on mine ... but -8 or -10 seem to be the choises

I use 1/2" ID, Dayco hose.
Slips over the stock barbs, nice and snug.

Sorry, but stock they are not. I use 1/2" hose on an all my replacement hoses that the local shop makes for me. As to what RB uses, never wasted the money on them.

I just got the adapters from Mazdatrix for the cooler and the engine, along with all new crushwashers. They are for -10 AN fittings. I figure between the free oil cooler, adapters, and hoses and ends, will have about 100 bucks in the whole deal.

I dotn use any of them overpriced SS crappola. For less than $70, a local shop can change all them stock hoses and they are rated =/- 300 PSI. For additional savings, no need buy new end fittings. In fact, I have seen several blown SS lines from RB. Thanks to them, Im able to get other parts from these junk cars.

the guys told me they for sure have 3/8" and 3/4". ill check with them to see if they have 1/2". if they dont, then ill just get the local guy to make them for me.
