Question What Pre-Mix do you use?

Well, the OMP on my 85 S model is pooched, so I'm down to using pre-mix.
My first choice is MMO, but they no longer sell it in Canada, so I'm looking for an alternative as so not to drain my limited supply.

So, what do you fine folks use for pre-mix?

Thanks!

I use the cheapest crap from Walmart. Supertech outboard 2cycle oil. 1oz/gallon gas. Works GREAT. I have taken two engines apart after using it to find VERY clean rotors compared to OMP. Carbon doesn't stick very well with 2cycle oil and helps the seals keep moving freely better then engine oil.

This typical subject is usually limited to 2 major choices of premixes. Marvel Mystery Oil if it's available, 2 stroke oil if it is not (Canada). But that's just my opinion. I have used MMO for a while now and it works great. 16 oz of MMO per full tank.

I hear that! I thought about using AMSoil 2cycle but I already have to buy premium gasoline with my blowthrough 12a turbo. I don't want the cost of filling up to increase by another(10cents~oz amsoil) a gallon gas because of the oil I add. Really is expensive with spirited driving-14mpg.

Well any oil that is designed to burn as it lubricates is probably a better dry seal lubricant then common 4 Stroke motor oil. Our engines may like 2 Stroke premix, but its not a 2 stroke. It doesn't rely on the premixed oil for cooling, and lubricating the whole engine, only several of the seals. The cooling is well covered by the water jackets and oil flow. Like WackyRotary said in his first post... they engines come out cleaner even with the cheap crap. Why spend a ton of money if it doesn't provide much if any benifit?
