12a with Streetport, RB Streetport headers and exaust, Carter 650 AFB, GSL rearend, Rats nest removed... think thats it. (other mods too but none that would pertain to dyno)

Thumbs up

Excellent, Stoops! Looks like a good, clean flat power-band. The air/fuel ratio looks pretty flat also, except for that spike down around 2000. I'm guessing that's where they stomp the throttle?! Don't know that much about how they do this. Anyhow, good run. That wins your bet, doesn't it?

Sanspistons (and Sansdyno time....)

yup, i dyno'd for free! and yes that's what that funky spike in the A/F ratio is from. When i was on the dyno in 3rd i started at about 1500 and floored it... it kinda bogged so the A/F ratio went all wacky for a sec then it worked itself out

3rd? can't it be done in 2nd from around 2500-3000, this would be good power for me all the way to 7-8k. mine pulls lots more in 2nd than 3rd.

what gear you do it in doesn't affect your power all that much, the difference is that with it in 3rd, the pull takes longer and therefore you get more samples for the sheet. and when you are up on a dyno, its nice for things not to happen too fast! i'll post the video as soon as i get it hosted.

cost all depends on the shop you go to. my local shop does 3 baseline pulls for $75 with wideband O2 logging. Most larger name tuning shops have a Dyno... youd have to just ask around for a local one. I will reccomend you make sure it's a DynoJet brand Dyno, not a Mustang Dyno... dynojet is just kinda the industry standard and the results differ between the two brands.
