It's definately possible that you have a kink in the metal line. If it's not visible take a role of solder or wire and run it in the return line. two things can happen from this one you find where it's restricted and possibly knock it loose. Good luck

OK UPDATE TIME! hahahaha, i pulled the rubber hose going to the gas tank from the metal part of the return line. i got a different hose and ran it to a jug. turned the fuel pump on. it held 2psi for a few seconds then went to around 4psi and held strong at that. so uhhhh???

Sounds like you have something in the metal pipe. It's filling at 2 psi till it hits the obstruction. Then the fuel fills the line and pressure backs up till its flowing past the obstruction at 4 psi. Try what I said in the post above your last.
If worst come to worst Ill give you 50.00 to take all the agravasion from you j/k
I got an update on my parts. My Military friend picked them up from my japanese friend. So hopefully I will be playing with my car next week and not starting a thread like this of my own

Got wire coat hangers?
You'll need a couple. They are a bit still, though, so in order to make the steel a bit softer so it doesn't bind so easily in the tube, take out the propane torch. Coil the lengths of wire up in a tight ball and heat them up to a dull cherry red. let them sit and cool slowly. You'll want to clean them with steel wool once you sraighten them.

Seems like alot of work...But it s'all I got.

Go to a hardware store and pick up a spool of some mechanics/bailing wire. That should work.

Liquid plumber?
(How hard is it to take off the whole line? And what would block it anyway? I mean- would'nt there have to be some garbage flowing through the whole fuel system to really block it up like that? Just curious..)

Yeah- He's got a new heart, but not the arterial and vein capacity to pump it. Good analogy!

they have things for running wire through conduit that you can pick up at hardware stores, its a flexible, somewhat thick wire that you can use to push or pull stuff through, id attach something to the end of it to pull or push crap out of there,

the wire comes on a roll, you can roll it back up when you're done and everything, should work fine, its made for pulling wire i think

ok guys, i'm going to lowes now and grabbing some good wire to use. i do have wire coat hangars, but i'm out of gas for the torch. :/ hahahaha i'll let you know what happens. although, like TOM said, i wonder if there is a liquid i could use to dump in there that would help break up what's inside that vein or maybei could feed my car some cheerios hahahaha. i'll update in a bit! WISH ME LUCK!

Sterling, that's what I do to make lockpicks. File it down, bend it, torch it, douse it in cold water.
Um, er, yah.

ok, there is a serious clot in there i think. i tried pushing all kinds of different wires down there and they all get stuck at the same point. probably 10" thru the tube. still up where the firewall is. ugh. i have had no luck blasting it out either. i guess i'm going to get regular fuel line to replace it for now because my dad has alot of it i can use. Carl, if you do find that AL fuel line, let me know OFF TO THE DADS HOUSE!

i'll be back with another update. thanks for the support guys, it really does help me when i come back here and see all the interest!!! makes me more motivated every time. WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! atleast i AM making SOME progress. better than none!
