TURBO Q's???

Will a TURBO 2 exhaust manifold(without the turbocharger) fit on a
GSL-SE exhaust ports??? or is it better off getting a custom exhaust manifold for a turbocharger(of choice)???

Can the N304 handle as more air comes in through the AFM???

2x680cc of fuel injection should be able to handle at least 4 pounds of boost right??

You'd be able to bolt the exhaust manifold on, but the turbo probably isn't going to clear the 6 port actuators or the lower intake.

You will need to grind the manifold since the SE engine has a block on the center housing between the ports. See http://www.winisp.net/gsl%2Dse/turbochronology.asp.

you have to grind the manifold and the block to fit it and another thing too that the manifold and turbo wont fit with the stock gslse intake manifold.you have to use a ported turbo II intake manifold or a spacer toexend the turbo manifold

thanks directfreak... custom headers looks like the only way to make that fit somehow... or a really HUGE SPACER and you'll still probably won't clear properly

Did you weld that yourself???

I just won an auction for a TURBO 2 turbocharger and I guess this project is on its way... what does side play and end play mean??? the item said NO END PLAY but little or no side play...???

Is it a good idea to turbo up a motor with 167k??? original miles no rebuild... rebuild seems so expensive for my pocket right now(even with the rebuild kits)....
