What is the best digital camera pricewise and performance specs, to record a race or a practice session from inside the car? I have a roll cage so I could fabricate a camera pod, but do you have any ideas/brand names/ quality, best antishock system or concerns in order to tape a good 15minutes worth of racing...

 

Well, I've been searching extensively on this topic also. This might help: www.conecam.com. You can check out their sample videos, and it looks pretty nice. The catch is you need something that can take video in, such as a dv cam, or a vcr. On this topic, and not meaning to hijack the thread, does anyone know where I can find a camera mount that attaches to the headrest? I've seen them before, but now I can't find it. I don't have a roll cage, and I'd like to buy one premade cause I'm too lazy to make my own. Thanks.
