Looks like a good project, I can tell its a S4 engine, but what style injectors does it have? hard to tell in those pics.

To calculate your final drive or any gear ratio for that matter is simply: Driven / Drive = Ratio. That is, ring gear teeth divided by the amount of teeth on the pinion gear. Have fun with that project you got yourself.

I might be crazy, but that sure looks like a regular clutch LSD to me.
I can see one of the spider pins, both thrust plates/ramps and the clutch discs, all in that picture......a Torsen shouldnt have any of that stuff.

been a while since iv been on the forum alot has changed since this thread ..soon to be wife and step daughter kinda killed all my free time.

thanks for the hint steve seemed like the guy wasnt to sure either..

so i brought an engine stand and thought ild tear down the t2 .

i think its funny that people sell adapter plates for engine stands for rotarys when you can just use the one that come with the stand heres a pic to show how i did it..
using two tranny bolts and two alt spacers.. gotta get creative mate

so any free time i have ill be wrenching one the engine aparently it has 90,000miles i checked all apexs through the exhaust ports and they look good as do half of the housings seems to be no corner apex wear like most my 12a housings so im hoping the best.
ill be doing a complete stock rebuild since im planing on stock boost levels etc.
i have the kiwi rebuid video to go by so this should be ****..
