Last time I ran was a 13.59 @ 106MPH......with about 2.0-1.9 second 60ft times.......but that was 3 years ago when I was running a stock S4 80K junkyard engine at 12psi,stock turbo and topmount IC.
With my fresh ported S5 engine,TO4B front mount and 14psi of boost I should be comfortably into the 12's.But I dont drag race anymore....no appeal.
Id estimate my 0-60mph times in the high 4's to mid 5's?.....there is a traction issue.
I doubt it would fit up,the RB downpipe is made to fit 2nd gens only, although it will fit quite well in a 1st gen if you have a custom exhaust made behind it.

If you run a turbo and FC downpipe, you should be having a new, larger exhaust system made anyway.Keep it between 2.5 and 3" and have the piping go straight back instead of curving under the tranny like the stock FB system. This has 2 advantages.....1st is flow,2nd you dont have to drop the exhaust to pull the tranny, and youll be able to cut away a lot of the extraneous heatsheilding around the center of the car.

so it would be advised not to use the rb -se muffler or presilencer. what about the rb 3rd gen muffler and get a custom 2.5 to 3" pipe and possibly presilencer? and i heard that you can use the stock -se transmission if you use a lightened flywheel. if you do this is the swap basically just dropping the new engine in and electrical work. i.e. will everything mate up correctly.

At the track I got to (MIR) there is an automatic first gen with nothing but 3 inch exhaust, a front mount and larger secondaries running 12.5 usually down into 11.9 if he turns up the boost past 8 psi.
Stock junkyard motor, wired the harness into the existing one, shitty tires and said he spent $1500 dollars on the whole thing including the car.

It just takes off with no tires spin real slow looking and just flys down the last 8th

I dont have my time slip handy but i ran 12's@113mph and 2 second 60ft times.
I used 5th gear in my 1/4 mile runs.

i used a calculator based off of info from my quartermile time and it gave me
high 3.8 to 4.3 second 0-60's and i pull around 1g while doing it.

traction wasnt to big an issue for me when driven smoothly.

s5 TII 60compressor upgraded turbo non intercooled@10psi
2200lbs car on stock 13in wheels using slicks.

that automatic has alot more going on that you are aware of.
11's take alot of power.

how much hp do you think a 87 turbo II engine with 3" exhaust, lightened flywheel, and a front mount would be putting down?

a stock 87TII with the external mods you describe
the flywheel adds ZERO extra hp.
the front mount will add little or no extra power but add a bit of saftey
3 inch exhaust will give you maybe 50-60hp max

so thats like 220-234hp at the flywheel..

videos of who direct freak? the auto??
he said he may be remebering wrong so its very possible.
it could be an aftermarket auto with an upgraded turbo and 12-14lbs of boost
or even some bottle power.

Thats what Im thinking.I kinda doubt a stock AT would hold up to the kind of power needed to be that quick.

Pimpncuba, you can run a RB muffler if you want it quiet.Just run the 81-82 RB muffler. Its the streetport version with a 2.5" inlet.Just cut off the dual pipes up front and utilize the 2.5" single pipe thats attached to the front of the muffler.I run one on my current 300hp S5 engine and 3" exhaust and it holds up very well and is QUIET.
The middle one......

I ran my 13.5s with about the same setup your decribing, stock engine, stock turbo,2.5" exhaust, light flywheel.......except I had the stock top mount IC and 680cc secondary injectors. It was about 13psi of boost with a good, stable boost controller and Id say about 250hp at the crank.Thats about maxxed for a stock turbo and S4 ECU.
My S5 streetport and ECU,TO4B,3"exhaust,800cc secondaries and front mount IC have me around 300hp safely. But its again pretty much maxxed out on what the stock S5 ECU can handle.

I do know the guy with the automatic ran at least a 12.9, it might have been an 11.9 but with people doubting that I may be wrong.

The car was rather poorly put together as wiring was showing, it was rusty, interior was rotted ect. So it was a budget racer, the guy was knowledgable about RX-7's but very short on words.

I belive the auto was either out of the stock car (stock auto shifter) or a JDM turbo 2 but it wasnt a built B&M or anything.

I can dig up one of my old 13.5 timeslips from 3 years ago with the stock S4 setup.

Ive never actually raced my car since going S5 and everything else.Im just estimating high 12's with the butt dyno. Not really into going drag racing anymore,I wanna do some autoX now.

I can post mine. I know exactly where they are. it was the first time i ever broke into the 12's so i kept them safe. the car ran awfull and still ran mid 12's.

later this year i can brag about a consistent 11's on an auto x suspension.

12's are not really that difficult for an first gen.
