45 might be a little insufficient, why won't you just go w/ a 55 DCOE??

isnt 55 overkill, i was gonna use a 48 but apperently weber is on strike, and all i can find used are 45 dcoes.

I make carb hats for the nikki($100 + shipping), for boost prepping talk to Robert @ www.rotaryshack.com

For the exhaust manifold and turbo, it's easiest to use a TII setup, and grind the manifold until it matches the 12a exhaust gasket.

The Weber setup on my cardomain page? $500 for the carb, and I made the manifold for $20 in material and a lot of hours in labor. If I ever decide to make those manifolds to sell they'd cost quite a bit, probably $300-$500.

There is a couple of auctions on ebay now that have no bidders for dell 48 carbs, one of them is even letting them go for 100 bucks a piece.
edit: If you buy all 6 they're 70 bucks apiece.

OFF TOPIC:

OK, my 85 GSL turbo conversion is in process. MSD fuel pump is in...upgraded the soft lines to F/I rated @ 50 PSI....yes the soft lines between the tank and the hardlines. Mallory regulator is mounted

My question is primarily on the return line. The stock non-GSL-SE return hard line is only 1/4. Do you guys think its necessary to change it to 5/16? Im planning to change mine to prevent a bottle neck but before I do, I wanna hear what others have done to their non-GSL-SE FB.

Thanks.

I can check later today on what size return I am running, I know it is the normal return line after the Malpassi regulator.

I am thinking 3/8" for some reason, but will double check later.

Can i still use the stock nikki carb when i turbo mine and just boost up the jets to run a little richer? I have never turbo'd a car so idk what all parts i will need to buy b.c im doin what a lot of ppl said is easier in which they go to a salvage yard and buy the 2nd gen set up and shave the header to fit. Do i need to buy a bigger fuel pump to run more p.s.i of fuel or can i run it with the reg. one for a while?

You can boost prep a dell just like a weber and parts are not that hard to find if you know where to look, i.e VW buggy shops.
