Top bolt on Air Control Valve - what tool?

Top bolt on Air Control Valve seems impossible to get to. I can feel it with a finger.

Any advice on tool and procedure to get to it? (84 12a).

It might sound stupid for me to ask but I have a really bad back so I try to do as much research. And this one has a pain factor of 9 on 10 scale because of the angle.

yeah i know it's a bitch to get to but with time and patience it will come out...

slide the deep socket or shallow socket in first with the extention and then put the rachet on it...and go to town on it...

I don't remember how I did it, but I used tools in my toolbox, perhaps an "alden" wrench, which is an open-end wrench with a spring-loaded jaw that allows it to act as a ratchet. Quite convenient for difficult bolts where you can only access from the side of the head. Look on eBay and you can find sets of 3 to 5 dual wrenches with 6 to 10 sizes. they only cost about $50, which I consider pretty cheap for all the good uses I've gotten out of them over the years. Mine are missing so I'm thinking of getting the big set on eBay. They are also quite slim so they can sometimes get in tight spots better than anything else. But they are light-duty, so take it easy (break the bolt loose with an ordinary end-wrench first, if necessary).

I always research projects first, too, because I'm lazy.
