survey 85-91 13b 6-port 4-bbl intake
Hi folks,
I am interested in those of you who are owners of 1st gen rx-7's. I am taking a poll on how many of you would be interested in a simple, good looking 4 barell intake for a 6-port 13b. I will be posting a photo tomorrow, and if you are interested please e-mail me personally. If there is sufficent interest in the manifold I will try to get it into production.

the intake I have replaces the upper manifold of the efi set up only so the install is simple and it looks as though it was made by mazda because for my test mule I used a mazda upper manifold to start the project.

I figured that, since when I started this project there was no intake of its kind availible, I should make sure to use technology that was already availible to me. I studied the stock manifold closely and drew a logical conclusion... Mazda was on to something! so I based my manifold on their design "loosely" but so far on preliminary tests the design seems to perform fantastically I will post dyno #s when I make it to a dyno day (soon I hope).....

Looks pretty sweet... too bad what we're given to work with (stock porting arrangement) means the long runners are on the secondary and the short runners are on the primary.
Have you fit one to a car yet? It looks like you'll need a tall hood scoop (or just a hole) to clear the hood, just curious as to how high up that'll be...
