supra turbo
i found this older model supra turbo its a t26 i wanted to know if this would work good on a 12a blow thru setup?also my car wont crank up i found a ignition relay that just tapps up could that b the problem? can the fly wheel b the problem bcause the starter is good i have switch 3 starters even to a second gen starter nothing and the all kik out and spin when i try em?could the engine b gone?
one thing i learned since last week, had the same problem, make sure starter has good connection and ENGINE is grounded TO CHASSI along with battery grounded to chassi. if thats tooken care of then may want to check out the other things.
The CT-26 is a small, weak turbo. It came on the supras and mr2 turbos. It is smaller than the stock TII turbo, and will take more fab work (higher cost) to make it fit.
I don't quite understand your no start problem. Is the motor turning over or not? If not, then you need to put the correct starter in there. The FC starter is not an upgrade, it is wrong, and will not work. I suppose the flywheel could be bad, but highly doubt it. Have you tried a push start? More info please, we can help you out.

The CT26 is small, but its bigger than a lot of factory turbos. If you keep it on a stockport 12A,itll give good response and 5-6lbs without overspinning. For an upgrade and to match any future mods,Id look at an FC T-18.On a 12A,you can move enough air to build about 10-12psi with a factory T-18.Plus they are easy to find and have a nice big wastegate(on S5 TII turbos)
Heres a link to a guy thats already fabbed up his T-26.You can see its not all that small, for a stock turbo......

yeah, as far as i know the CT-26 is one of the largest stock turbo's put on a sports car.
on my supra i had no prob's running it at 15psi for quite some time before i upgraded to a greddy 20G, plus you can use the 60-1 (or larger) compressor for even more *****. if anything i'd think its too big for a 12a.

i tried a push start it didnt work as far as i know a fc started does work on sa and on a fb at least 5 people i know have second gen starters on a twelve a but maybe im wrong. but yes the engine does not turn at all as far as when i put in the starter i made sure the ground connections where intact i think its another problem because blieve me ive had starter problems on many of my past cars and it dosent seem like a starter prob though it did at first

Well,a 12A does move a lot of air for its physical size, but since the CT-26 was able to feed a 3.0L piston engine at around 5-6lbs,Id expect it could handle a 12A that moves roughly the same air as a 2.3L piston engine.Just keep the piping short and the IC small.
Any porting or boosting above stock levels and Id start looking at a T-18 or better.
