supercharger with intercooler idea, just throwing out ideas,

If i were to go turbo, I would only do it with a aftermarket fuel injection and ignition system.
First of all, I dont have the kind of money or skill (yet) to set this kind of a system up.
I would kill to have a 600hp haltech controlled rew but it just doesnt work out.
I would have to change my $800 exhaust system and get a new fuel system.
The supercharger idea works with my existing exhaust and fuel system.
Plus it adds low end torque to a engine that lacks it almost completely.

Everybody always talks about wankels having no low-end torque... Shy of 5th gear I've got tons of grunt down low. Sure I have much more higher up but, it's not exactly a pig.

Hey everyone, just a couple of questions:
1: what level of boost do you propose to run?
2: How much are you trying to cool the intake charge?
You might want to look into an alcohol or propane injection setup (you can find info at www.turbobuick.com in the message board). This may not be a viable option for a carb'ed setup, but in an Turbo EFI setup with air/air intercool serves the dual purpose of preventing knock and thus allowing additional boost.
Maybe that will help
