supercharged videos
Beautiful car, i have the 7 inch camden too im just waiting for a little money to get my motor rebuilt. I was at camden awhile ago and they told me not to get my motor bridgeported because the supercharger doesnt like to rev that high. true or not true?

Not true, you just need a larger pulley with the bridgeport to reduce intake temps and prevent cavitation. But, the s/c cannot flow well enough to take full advantage of the bridgeport. Ideally, the camden is best suited to a stockport street driven application.

I got about 170 rwhp out of my previous engine. The record was 210 on Codeblue's with a sidedraft throttlebody and standalone. I'd suggest going high compression na with the s5 vdi setup or turbo II.
I'd be happy with 170 in the REPU with just a bolt on. That keeps it simple and torque will not be an issue.
By the way, I like where you said "Ideally, the camden is best suited to a stockport street driven application." because the engine has stock '74 spec intake ports (smoothed and roughed up obviously, but stock '74 timing). The exhausts have been opened up because they had the same port timing as US-spec 12As, and we all know how restrictive those are.
Do you think it will reach 170HP?

only 170? i was hoping to get at least 250 with the 12 pound pulley, msd 6al's, water injection, and a large streetport or bridge. i have 89 rotors in my 13b. i thought they could make much more of an increase in power. damnit.

The camden is great "for the street". I do like the way it drives. However I am in pursuit of more power. Plans next spring involve twincharging by blowing into the charger and combining this with nitrous. I already have the nitrous, never installed it yet because the new motor didn't go in until late in July. Then I got tied up doing hardwood floors in my house. Pretty soon now we'll see snow and she will go into hibernation until spring.
