not true dual beacuse i have a single outlet header but i can imagine it would be cool with duals.

It would sound really weird with true duals, I did some on one of those old 3 wheeled mail carts with the Onan boxer twin cylinder. It almost sounded like a one cylinder but each pulse would alternate. It was a really strange thing to listen to.

I'd say it'd look better slightly angled back. Badass nonetheless.

I agree angled back more would look better. Also tucked up a little closer to the body and not protruding out so much and they would be perfect. Actually sounds kinda cool. I wanted to do this on my FB but clearance would be an issue with the size piping I would want to use. What muffler are you using?

Just FYI all exhaust systems must exit the rear of the car to stay in CSP. It can be any aftermarket exhaust but like I stated earlier. I just noticed that you had CSP on your window.

My buddy made a system similar to that for his SA. RB road race header, and center section, modded to become a true dual. Loud as hell, and really sounded funny. He only used it while at the road course, and it actually sounded like someone was letting a huge FART the whole time he had the throttle opened.
The car felt like it didn't make as much power, compared to the stock manifold with 2.25 pipe and a flowmaster. That system sounded like a weedeater.
He now has the header with a homemade 2 into 1, with the 2.25 pipe and flowmaster. Weedeater on steroids......

There used to be a video somewhere of the true dual setup that RB makes for the FC.They say its very good at making power, and its been known for a long time that long primaries do work well.Keeping it true dual on the FC is probably more a requirement, due to the stock, split system.
The dual primary FB version of that exhaust merges at the muffler and still makes great power, and your side pipes, while asthetically......odd.....sound great......nice driving!

My ears still hurt! I was at the same event, and it does sound very nice when opened up. I'll bet your ears start bleeding after ten miles or so though...

Need to keep the pipes up higher so they don't drag the cones you knock down though!

Yeah I can attest that it's loud. I ran my FB on open RB header for about 3 weeks daily driven. It hurt worse with the windows down from the echo from objects beside me. Of course in the low end it just felt like it had zero power. Can't say about the upper range because it hurt too much above 3500rpms

A buddy of mine did that too except for just a single pipe out the passenger side with a glass pack... Reminded me of my Rupp snowmobile when I straight piped it Very cool!
