suggestions for muffler
i'm shopping for a muffler right now (just got a RB midpipe).
can anyone provide suggestions? i'm not exactly looking for stock look, but i would like to have two tips. not TOO big and gaudy, either.
and it has to hold up to my rotary exhaust, too (12A).
i like the look of this one, but i'm still trying to find out if it will hold up and whether or not it has a warranty:

the guy at the shop (good guy, for a rice shop guy) said that it sounds nice and mellow, which is good, i don't want to sound like an angry bumblebee.
anyone know of one that looks like this, but is beefy enough to put on my car?

i like the tips and the whole chrome package.
as for the mellow sound, im assuming it does have more of an aggressive sound, but it can't be any worse that how my rotted out stock muffler sounds. i take what rice shop guys say with a grain of salt.
the question still remains - who makes beefy aftermarket mufflers?

Never put a riceboy tin can on your rotary rocket - it will last about a week. Not to mention sound like ****.
There is only one option if you want a free flow muffler that is quiet and durable - Racing Beat PowerPulse.
They are pricey, but they are the best. They sound absolutely fantastic, and last forever.

Granted I have one and thus my opinion is biased, but from everybody I've spoken with nothing else compares.

Yeah, make sure it's built for a rotary, otherwise it'll break-down from the heat. Racing Beat, Mazdatrix, and Rotary Performance Online all sell mufflers designed for the RX-7.
