Stut bar worthwhile?

There is a strut bar on ebay for around $70- I was wondering if any of you think it makes much of a difference or if there are and other sway bars that are worth it - thanks

Sway bar, or strut bar ??? Strut bars up front are very
helpfull, they tie the whole front firewall / strut towers together.I made my own front strut brace and a rear shock tower bar or brace.Makes a big differance, IMO

Even if it doesn't mount to the firewall, you can still feel a BIG defference.

The CP Racing / rotarhead.ca / eBay strut bar is very nice. It really made my car feel solid. IMO it's a definite must have item after you tune your suspension with shocks, springs, bushings, tires, etc.

I agree - but the key word is AFTER you've done the other stuff. IMO, if you have not upgraded shocks/springs and added a sway bar, the strut brace is going to the the opposite of what you want. Because you are tighening things up front, and if you are still diving into the corners on those stock spring/shocks, you may actually feel less in control.
I bought one for my first FB before I did the other suspension stuff and my control felt worse if anything. After I did my springs and shocks, it felt and handled very tight and I will attribute some of that to the brace.

About 3 months after adding my RB Strut Tower Brace (to firewall), I had the left front strut mount top blow out and push the shock rod up against the hood (leaving a small dent). Not cause-and-effect, but I'd say that it makes a difference in how the forces are transmitted between shock towers.

Previously, I had RB springs, Koni swaybar and older lower control arms installed. At the same time when replacing strut tower mounts, I replaced the lower control arms for new arms, added Tokico Blues, and haven't been able to install the front strut tower brace again - the studs are too short to allow the riser mounts to bolt down.

Need to find a way around that - any suggestions? (For clarification, the studs that come up through the fenderwork from the bottom are not long enough to go through the risers and be captured by the 14mm nuts. My old ones worked great, these new ones are too short...) TIA,

Is the racingbeat strut tower brace worth the money or should i just get the rotorhead one that goes to the firewall. I guess the racingbeat is just for looks while the rotorhead being alot cheaper still does the job? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I've heard Rx7Carl mention many time that the RB bar is quite heavy and difficult to work around when installed. No personal experience. I'm planning on the CP bar when I get around to it.
