Street Port Template
I will have an actual size of the template up soon. To use this template I will be posting, you will have to line up the bottom stock edge with the bottom edge of the template.

Yea, I am currently using that template. I should have some good feedback on how it worked out for me. I will also be posting more pix of my progress. I have opened it up all the way! I will let you know if any seals fall out of the port ! ? !

Printed to small? I will work on that. You took it off my site?
I dont know the plexiglass trick? Please explain . . .
I will use it soon, considering I have more side plates if the plex trick show flaws, I can start over. I was thinking of inserting the seals and rotating the rotor and if the side peice falls out or is too close I would start over. Hopeing I dont have to since I have put many hours in porting ! ! !

Airflow is my life
Yea I printed it off the link in this thread.
Over on nopistons the guys came up with a trick. You use a piece of plexi, then cut the port into it and also dowel pin holes to locate it. Assemble one rotor using the plexi as the top side plate. Then you can watch the seals as you rotate the engine. Go over there and look at what they did. Good stuff.

eh, I basically just did that with rotor/seals and housings. It will work, but I dont like how close everything is. This will work, but Iam thinking about redoing the port job on another set of sideplates and not touching the edge that the corner seal rides on for longevity of side peice/engine. only doing the start and end of the intake cycle as much as coolant passages way will permit. Any ideas on if their is a reason why NOT to open the start of the port as much as coolant pasages will allow?
Any opinions?
