Question SP Engine 12A + 13B combination

Do you guys think this combination will work? 12A SP front plate + SE 13B SP Housing w/rotor + SE 13B SP middle plate + SE 13B SP Housing w/rotor + 12A SP end plate. If the combination works, do I need the 12A water pump or can I used the SE 13B. What else would I need?

Thank you

i think thats a pretty common thing to do.
yea use the se oil pump, water pumps are the same.
you'll need to use all the se rotating assembly.
the front covers are the same except for the se 4 omp lines instead of 2 so if your not going to premix run the se one.

unless ur going to use the SE injection, there's really no reason to use the SE center plate. of course if it's already ported then use it. just plug the injector holes if going with carb.

Umm... isn't there going to be a problem with the location of the water jacket O-rings, or is that only on 2nd Gen 13b's?

yes, keep the primaries as mild as you can. get the template that the Gen II N/A guys use on their primaries.

You want performance? Use the plates with the tallest ports, then port it. Forget about doing mild streetport. Always go for max ports.

Now since you're going to use the SE housings, plug the injection ports. If you use it (oil injection), you will have lots of smoke. With the OMP, the SE has 4 lines. You have to use "Wye" wherein you combine 2 lines into 1, for a total of 2 OMP lines.
