i just put a rebuilt 12b in my 85 rx7 and there is smoke coming out of the air cleaner. the source of the smoke is coming from the pipe that runs from the thermal reactor to the bottom of the inlet of the air cleaner and smoke coming out of the exhaust.

blueish gray kind of white. sorry 12b, its been a long day.

 

is the smoke a good thing or bad thing

 

It's oil resadue in the thermal reactor take the hose off the thermal reactor and spray some degreaser in ther fallowed by a little water to wash the degreaser away. Or run it on the hiway for about 30 min to burn it all out.
