Simple question aboutthe 83S model
i was just wondering if its possible to get the 83 base model with a sunroof? thanks.

I dont think so. I think the sunroof was only an option on the GS up until 84 then it became standard.

My 85 GSL has no sunroof.

ok, I know it was an option on the GS, but I thought it was standard on the GSL. wierd- You learn something new about these cars every day. I've had 6 GSL's and they have all had sunroofs.

GS and up could be gotton with sunroofs. I was always an option on GS's where GSL's came with it standard, as did the SE. I'm almost positive a S couldnt have one.

Thank GOD they weren't standard on the GS model. You know how long it took to find one in good shape without a sunroof for a fair price? I can't fit under the thicker sunroof headliner.
