I wonder if I got hit by a guy, whether the insurance company would automatically assume it's my fault.
both of mine were males. the first one could speak english. and the other one was talking on his cell. I don't think that it has to do with gender.. more so that they are just stupid people.

Yea seriously, it really doesn't have to do with gender, just like Wodihor said how if they are just stupid people in general. You never know who you are gonna get into an accident with.. I was in a similiar accident on the freeway about over a year ago, but the lady was hispanic, spoke very little english, didn't have a drivers license nor insurance.. so that was a pain to deal with. fortunately for me, by law it was my fault, but since she didnt have anything then it never made it to the insurance company. so you never really know whats gonna happen. all we can really hope for is that we don't get jipped out of repair money because of the value of our older classic cars.

I really feel that the driving age doesn't make too much of a difference. I started driving when I was 16.. and at that point I was a better more focused driver then some 30 year olds who have been driving for 15+ years. It just depends on the person.. It's like saying people that are 70+ should have their license taken away. Almost every age group has a reason why they should have their license taken away, it's too complicated to have anything really done about it.

I'm in the middle, 45 here. My kid lost his license before he was 18, i think the driving age should be raised to 18, and then on a graduated system. Same goes for the old folks too, they should be tested more often. They stay clean becasue they can afford to pay for their mistakes and avoid insurance and most cops are sympathetic to them. In my dads last few years of driving i had to negotiate a few of his mistakes for him.

[QUOTE] I was an aggressive driver in Germany

i was in germany last summer & noticed a few things- the amount of cars i see around my area, tampa bay, florida with damage on them in one day. Well i saw half of that many, the whole 9 days i was in germany. Proving how well people drive there, and how poorly it is here. hope that makes sense

Well, here's the latest update:

They aren't going to total the car or give it a salvage title. Instead they are handing me $2500 to fix the car. Success!!! Already started working on the car and i'm actually going to be adding some minor body kit parts to the front and rear, no side skirts for now though. Then having the car repainted and after adding on my RB street port exhaust setup. Can't wait to see it finished, will post pics after paint job.

Some Lady totalled my 1st rx-7 85 gs.. I was coming out of the car wash and some lady took the light and sent my car flying onto the curb. She denied taking the red light and said I was speeding. Cops believed her since she had her whole family in the car and I was by myself cops said Yea I bet you were speeding. Fu*K Them At least I got myself a GSL-SE after that. Which im selling now by the way.
