Seam Sealer

I would be extremely grateful if someone with an undisturbed 79 would look at their car and tell me if seam sealer was used between the front fenders and the tub they are mounted to. Likewise behind the door hinges.

You can never take enough pictures.

there is usually a short bead at the back corner, where the hood, cowl, and fender meet. there is also a bead on the headlight bucket, and in the middle of the fender seam. also there is a bit on the bolt hidden by the door.

amount varies a bit, probably done by hand

also where the fender front lower corner meets the lower front valence panel...that whole joint.

Let's see if I understand.... With reference to the picture I have attached, there is seam sealer where I put the blue lines but not where I put the yellow lines. Correct? Is that the same for both sides?

Nope!!
just where the LOWER front of the fender attaches to the FRONT valence panel that is below the bumper. The Green area you note is a hardware mount only!
