Ok i have a little trick i picked up somewhere fore when my car gets flooded. I go to my traililng coil(the front one) and i pull the blue connector off of the negative terminal. I turn the car over and it starts right up, then stalls, i plus the blue connector back in and turn it over nad itl start right up like nothing was wrong. Anyone know if that works on 12a's, if noone knows someone should try. My 12a isnt runnin yet

how long would it take to get to lake?
and what major cities are around ?
maybe I could find someone to visit near by, I need to get away for a few days *shrug*

just mapped it, looks like your sorta on the way to traverse city, I will probably be heading up that way in a week or two if your still having problems then.

my family has some property up there and I need a getaway soon.

Clare is the nearest "Big"(uswe it very loosely) city. Mt Pleasant isnt to far. Its about 2 and a half hours from here to Novi(my bro lives there) and thats my parents driving 70 the whole way. All tahts left on the car is to put on intake, put engine in car, remount exhaust, wire everyhting back up and hope it starts. I dont think itl run right htou, the fuel pump stays running when the key is on so something needs fixed i think. If you want to we can work out a weekend u could come up and possibly stay with us, or ifu have family nearby u could stay at but all help is welcome. The car is an 83 thats going to be my dads.

NExt saturdat(17th) im having a little get together with whover shows up, its been posted in the midwest section for awhile. Traverse City is aways north of me i think but i think its sorta on the way.

the fuel pump should run 24-7 when the key is on.
I can bring some stuff and re-wire your ignition too while im at it.
might as well since your have to play with it anyway and I got some spare stuff lying about.

thatd be awesome. I dont work saturday or sunday but on satday i will be at the gettogether. As for the following weekend i wont know for another week. And i cant really ask for nay days off unfortunately. Parents dont mind if you stop by either.
