Fuel Level Sender Problems!
Ok, so what could cause the gas gauge in a vehicle to move up and down as fast as the gas sloshes around in the tank? Would that just be a bad level sensor? Unfortunatly, Im not asking about an RX-7 either, its just that you guys are the only ones I can turn to when I get lost, and even though this isnt an RX-7, I thought maybe it was a "general reason" answer.
When I came home from the Army, I needed a vehicle to drive that wouldnt get me so many speeding tickets, so I went after a deal I found on one of my other passions, 4x4s. I now own a 1984 Toyota SR5 4x4 as my daily driver. Dont worry though, I still have RX-7s at heart, after all, shes got a Weber carb kit on her (along with some other toys and goodies )!
Anyway, thanks for reading, maybe someone can help me out!

Well, when it sits still, I think its right, but its so rare that it sits still, lol. If the truck has been sitting for a while, and I go look at it, its sitting still, as soon asI turn the key or move the truck at all (getting in even), its all over.

Airflow is my life
Pull the wire off the sender and ground it. The gauge should read rock steady, either empty or full, doesnt matter. Drive around and see if the needle keeps bouncing. If it does, then you have a bag gauge or wire.
