yeah, I saw that. BAT. I have a 78 build in stock condition. needs fresh paint. What we as enthusiasts need to do is start to log these sales and auctions for insurance issues.

BAT is great place to gather that info. You can search and go back in time and look at all the sales on the site for 1st gens. They even have a pretty graph that shows the sales over time. Pretty slick too,

Plaid is in right now. I love my 1st gen, but I don't $14k love it....but I suppose if someone offered me $14k right now I'm not sure I would sell it, so maybe I do?
