Question rx7 alternator question

undefined I have a 1984 rx-7 with stereo mods etc. I want to replace the alternator with something that is more powerful, and will help keep everything charged up. Any idea's on what alternator i should put in the car?! Or is there anything electrical maybe out of a gen 2/3 that i could put in there to help regulate the power? Any help would be greatly appreciated along with part numbers, where to locate, etc? Thanks in advance!

Use an S4 alternator. Its basically a direct swap. 75 amps as compared to 55 amps. Plenty of power for about 600 watts of stereo power.
