Rotaryshack.com/Mazdaracing.com

Ok guys.. My name is Mike from mazspeed.com. I'm over in the first gen rx-7 webpage. There has been some problems from this guy 680RWHP12A. Robert is his name. He was formally from Mazdaracing.com with Jeff Warner. In short well somewhat short. Mazdaracing.com has been known as a shop that has taken peoples money and not quite delivered on what they were to deliver for the customer. Lots of reports came in about how no one got there parts and how they treated there customers. Robert kicked Jeff out (Or so he says) and started his own shop Rotaryshack.com. Jeff now has Maxdaracing.com not being any kind of mechanic I don't know how he's going to pull that off.

Robert in the mean time has come on this site and mine saying that he can do this, and he has that. After seing him sing up on my site I gave him the 3rd degree, but after taking to my friend who's car he worked on (still after 4 months does not have it yet) told me to take the high road and give Robert a chance. I did that on my site.. Theres a thread at mazspeed.com under the "Q&A Turbo/Supercharger/NOS-Rotaryshack/mazdaracing.com.

I was a bit harsh on Robert knowing what my members had said about him, but he made a case in e-mail to me that it was "All Jeff's fault" He also told me that He was never part of mazdaracing.com which is an outright lie, since why is he fixing my friends car for free.. First off My friend Andy's car was badly done.. it had an 91 engine with a 87 turbo2 setup. after my friend paid for a 91 turbo setup.. Big difference. Oil was leaking out of the turbo system like crazy, so I gave my buddy use of my truck to go down there and drop off his car over 4 months ago. still doesn't have it yet. I told Robert about all of this and he would say it's not his fault, but it was Jeff's fault. BS he did the crappy work, and my friend had to bring it back. Now Robert comes on my site as 680RWHP12A and starts advertising what he can do and this and that, but I called him on it, and told him he can't be doing that when he has problems to fix with others. Now he comes on my site as "12aTurbo510" and says "I'd like to also comment on the whole rotaryshack.com issue......I have done ALL of my work at Robert's shop and have NO complaints...the car does EXACTLY what he said it would do, he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful, in fact I recommend him to everyone that asks about my car. I just snapped a couple pics of my ride....check um out.... www.ammarsgallery.com/510 " well guess who that is? It's Robert.. How do I know, It's my site and I can trace the IP address and this is what it reads.

"Author: 12aTurbo510
IP Address: 67.115.72.183"

"Author: 680RWHP12A
IP Address: 67.115.72.183"

This is in no way possible without being on the same computer or sharing an IP address.
I'm very sorry to come here and tell on somebody like this, but this is a joke on my site, and I will not let this happen there. I think it's in my best interest and yours if you stay away from this clown/thief. Those are harsh words but it's true.. Again I'm sorry for coming on this great forum and saying this about someone else, But as an Rx-7 lover I have to help the guys who are into this as much as I am. I'm not into trashing somebody, but when the person in question is trash you have to let others know about this.. It's not fair to you and I that I let this go any further.. I have been burned before and since I have a forum of my own, I cant let this happen to you!

Sorry and thanks for your time
Mike B

Hey Piston.. sorry to hear that.. Ok.. I just got off the phone with my friend Andrew.. I was wrong when I said that Robert was posting as someone else.. They called my friend and said that there was 2 of them on Roberts computer.. That may have been my bad.. I will ask this of Robert though.. After all the people that have been burned by you and Jeff, and I do mean "You and Jeff" because no matter what you say, your entwined with him because of your bad dealings. I do have to ask you these questions. 1 Why did Andy (My friend) get his car back in such bad shape? Motor mounts were bad, bolts with 6 washers on them holding the front cover on to the front plate? engine mounting bolts were HAND TIGHT. 87 Turbo and manifold on a 91 Block.. That was not Jeff's work, that was YOURS! You put a 87 stock turbo on a 91 block. What were you thinking? and it was leaking.. Big surprise from a used 87 manifold. All or nothing boost when oil didn't leak from the turbo itself. You may be a "Self proclaimed" turbo guru, but who does this?

You need to be held accountable for your actions. If I need to issue an apology, then I will, but you have a LOT of questions to ask before you use a forum to get customers. I know what I'm doing for the most part. I'm not a mechanic, and I don't work on cars full time. I did at one point. I own my own electrical business and I helped build a very successful robot for battlebots, so when I see something bad, I can pretty much for the most part tell if it's good work or not.. If I see Andy's car and everything looks good, Ill post it, and vise versa.. I would not bash someone for no reason, and I would need a pretty good reason to do it. So let's see your new work, and shut me up. Like I said.. If it's good work, Ill be the first to say so, if it's bad Ill say that as well. But so far, you do have people mad at you for your bad workmanship, and poor partnership.

Mike

Stay tuned for the next installment of "As the Rotor Turns"....

I really thought something was fishy when the pics of that 510 were missing from mazdaracing.com, and then found those same pics on the new site...

Either way because of all the BAD PRESS with regards to mazdaracing.com I am sure to not spend my money at "the new place" until I get good solid feedback from people I already know and trust!

Thanks for your input Felix.. My job is to help out others before they spend there money on shops that will knowingly rip them off.. I really believe this is one of those shops both rotaryshack.com and mazdaracing.com.

Thanks again

Cheers

I've posted on your forum about them before, and several people had the same experience I did.

You're the one with the kickass site.

We don't have "RB exhaust fume" for a title here though...

For clarifacation..... I am robert from www.Rotaryshack.com and just wanted to set the story straight..... I have had a shop for a long time..... Jeff had a website selling parts and asked if he brought me his customer's cars to install upgrades, i/c kits, engines, and other msc. repairs... i agreed.. i never did phone sales at any time for him.. I never did the internet thing.... that was his job.... Aftter finding out that Jeff had some unsatisfied customers and poor cust. service I decided that it would be in my best interest to terminate any bussiness dealings with Jeff.. Thats when i started Rotaryshack...For the internet sales, that way i would know what was going on ,I would be dealing with the customers directly....No middle man, no mis-communication and good customer service! Since Jeff and I terminated our relationship I requested that he remove any and all customer cars , pictures, videos that were mine or I built ...Thats why all the pictures and videos are gone from his site!!!I will take full responsibility for any customer that is unsatisfied that dealt with me when I worked with Jeff, if you are please let me know,... I will try my best to accomadate you....

Hey Robert.. Your also a thief.. In e-mails you sent to me, you told me that you "NEVER" were a part of Mazdaracing.com. Then you told me that it's all "Jeffs" fault. Your work quality was poor at best. You put a 87 turbo on a 91 block, and it had a crack in it. Also your mounts from the engine to the front cover to the front bar WHERE COMPLETELY DANGEROUS. 6 washers on one side of the front cover plate, because you used the wrong screw, and you WAY over slotted the front bar, and had to use a bunch of washers there, and one came out, and it was hanging on by a thread. The other side was almost as bad.. Now your not going to blame Jeff now are you? since you did that crappy work? When you came on my board you lied, and the other guys caught you, and you had it out with them. I finally had to ban you because you were being an jerk and a liar. Not taking responsibility for your actions, and not taking responsibility for your bad partnership. From the poor quality and workmanship, plus all the lying that you did makes you a criminal in my book, and a lot of others.. A LOT of others. Check my site at www.mazspeed.com and go to Site Suggestions. look at all the people you pissed off again. When you sell parts, your selling used crappy parts. "I have the pictures to prove that" I also have e-mails that you sent me recently that prove you lied to me. Be a man and take reponsibility for your actions, and quit blaming everyone else for your screw ups. It's a shame I have to do this, but your a fraud, and there are enough people that say the same thing.

*pulls up a chair and a bag of popcorn* This should be interesting.

This is exactly why, I (and close personal friends) are the only ones granted access to work on my car. I was in the same boat as any new person working on cars. I educated myself on cars, and dove right in. Yes, there were up's and downs, but you learn from your mistakes and move on. Plus you get the satisfaction of saying, "Yes, I did that".

mazzy, thanks for posting the info for other members on the board.

Thanks guys.. again this is not something I would normally do to anyone, but if the guy would have said "You know what, your right I did screw up, but I have a lot of knowledge to give, and I want to try to make things right with the guys that are mad at me" Or something like that, And I would have said, no problem, but correct your mistakes if you want to advertise on my board, which is what he tried to do..... Maybe Robert/680RWHP12A does know a lot about rotaries, but he doesn't know a thing about business. We gave you a lot of chances Robert to do and say the right things, but you didn't, and you wont because you blame everyone else for your shortcomings.. It's too bad too..

Cheers
