ReWiring
Ok heres the deal i recently bought a 85' rx-7 GSL. She has become my baby. anyway i was takeing out the wankle and am going to do the v8 swap but before i was going to repaint the enginebay when i was going to remove the engine wiring harness but found it to be attached to... everything else. when i cut he wires for the headlights i noticed that the left side has 3 wries going to it and 5 on the other how ever my friend has a 85' rx7 GS and he has 4 on the left and 3 on the right. my questions are
What is the deal with the funky wiring in the car it all appears to be stock?
This wiring bothers me and i want to redo the wiring in the car has anyone done this before or do you have any suggestions or tips?
Thanks for your help

If you dont have a Haynes manual handy, you can check one out at the library , it has the wiring diagrams, or go to auto zone and look thru there books.. thats all i can suggest...good luck

with the v8 you wont be able to use barely any of your wiring as it is, so open all the looms and cut all the wires but the lighting out, maybe the tach as well. almost none of the wiring in the engine bay you wont need, also remember to leave the starter wires.
