They are not made by anybody, period. That is the sad truth.

Are you sure about that? I remember seeing somewhere something about a group buy for them I thought... I'm pretty sure someone makes them.

Street Racer Parts has a program where if you get 10 people to ACTUALLY buy in (used to be 20), they will make them. It's been tried before, usually get alot of people to say they want them, but when it gets down to doing it, nobody does.
As far as dealing with SRP, I don't have any idea how they are.

I tried to get 10 people to confirm that they would buy them, so I could get SRP to make 'em, but would only get maybe TWO people confirming each time I tried...

Oh yeah, and I remember you ran into the issue of different guage layouts for different years (Like center tach in some, 85 MPH speedo in some, etc.)

I was wondering this too. I know an 82 can take an 83 with the 120 speedo(I swaped them last week), but I'm not sure of a GSL-SE speedo.

yep, there are some others for 84-85...

I emailed one ebay seller making silver faced ones to see if he'd like to add them to the silver faced ones I already carry. He got all snide asked to see business licenses for every jurisdiction that I could possibly sell to, or it's 'illegal' for me to sell them.

This from a guy flogging them on eBay...
