redline MTL
I just thought I share my experience with Redline MTL. Before using Redline MTL, shifting was notchy in my 85 se. I put Redline MTL in my tranny today and what a difference. Now shifting is silky smooth. The only drawback is the cost. It costs around $8.00/qt. I think it is well worth it. I also got their fuel injector cleaner and the racing 2 stroke oil(for pre-mixing). I will let the board know how they turn out.

I have been running Redline fluids for a long time. The car ran and drove infenietly better after I switched over to the Mt-90 and shockproof gear oil in the rear-end.
The motor OIl gets real pricey but I deffinetly like having the little extra heat protection.

Rather than search, I'll risk getting flamed and ask "how many quarts did you use?"
I've shifted an RX7 with the redline in it before, was very nice, I need to do it on mine in the next few weeks...probably just going to mail order the fluid...where's a good spot to order it?

I used a little more than 2 quarts of MT-90 in the tranny. I live close to Red Line Oil so I just stop by and bought some. I believe they will ship. Their e-mail address is: www.redlineoil.com and its phone number is 800-624-7958.

There's a bolt right on the bottom of the tranny, I forget the size. Take it out, fluid will flow.
BTW-You can go to any GM dealer and get GM syncromesh tranny fluid, also great stuff!

Well if your tranny is already in good condition, you probobly wont feel a huge difference. It will just make things a little smoother and help everything last longer... less wear..
