Rear links question

Ok, so I pulled the rear end, along with all the links and such for some refurbishing. Anyways I want to sandblast all the parts before I repaint and install them, however I fear losing my reference marks and not being able to re-install them in the exact same positions as before. As far as I can tell the lower links seem perfectly straight (in my mind could go anyway u wanted), and the uppers also seem like they could be swapped end for end or side for side (just have to be angled the right way). Would I run into any issues if I lost my references on the links?

Use a center punch to make new reference marks, then everything can be reinstalled in the same position.

In reality, it doesn't matter where they go end-for-end or side-to-side.

What is more vitally important is that the suspension is at ride height before you tighten the bolts down!

/\ /\ /\ /\ Soooo ture. All you have to do is jack it up by the pumkin so all the weight is on the car then install. It's not safe, but you need the car to be at ride height when you tighten it up.

just slip some stands under the axle to support the weight, and bring the front up level also. better to be safe than sorry
