so i am redoing the interior of my 1st gen and i was wondering what the best thing to do with the door panels is, they look like crap and i want to replace them are there any pre made panels on the market or what would yall recommend?

 

First, do you want a stock look and color, manual or power windows, etc. There are no pre-made ones that I know of, however they are not terribly hard to redo. If you want to match the original fabric and pattern, that may take some looking. If not matching, the choices are wide open.

If you want to keep it original, post a pic of what you have in the wtb section, someone should have panels available. If not stock, visit your local auto upholsterer and peruse his fabrics, then decide if you want to attemt it or have them professionaly redone.
