Project Kramer Website!

Okay,

I've had a few (dozen) PM's asking for new pics, updates, and questions about Project Kramer.

Here is a site I was able to use, since I don't know jack **** about web page building..

Directfreak's Project Kramer site!

I put in as many pics as the site let me. BTW, I know my car is an 85 GSL-SE. The site is designed for 2nd Gens only, but I liked the layout and the simplicity of it.
It won't let me name the car anything but a 2nd Gen.

Anyway, I hope you like it, and I will answer any questions you may have.

i just saw that from another thread, and right as i was about to pm you, i saw this

i have a question though...

you say your not running the haltech yet, is that why you have a blow through setup on it right now? is that for good? or are you goign to go back to the efi setup once you get the haltech. it seems to be you would get more power with the efi setup you had going on, but maybe thats just me?

looks really good man... really really good.

Nice. Where did you get the extra trim rings for the climate controls?

Thumbs up Awesomness!!!

Wow--Awesomness--love to see all that great custom work.

That switch to blow thru reallly worked out good for you.

So I'm guessing that big 3" intercooler outlet is running below the orange stabilizer bar in the far right hand side of this pic (yea--even though the 3" is not shown in this one ?

I gotta do an electric fan setup one of these days.

And oh yea, love the book ends too.

Hey DF,,,,, um, i mean officer freak. lol
I've always thought hacking up such a nice and clean -SE to be a mistake IMO.Don't get me wrong the mode one is sick, on a different ,less sweet 7. Don't custom parts suck ?the wait that is. cool spread of pics i like the book ends. Is the roll cage custom designed?
those front 'kickers' are going to get old fast and the rear 'kickers' should have crossed each other, stronger.
Is it welded in? don't forget about power coating the cage too, you know that. You bought different tires and wheels, right? how much do they stick out on kramer as it is now? tons lol. So, everything is forced induction in the garage ? even the spyder?. Be proud alex you've done well,,um,sir. lol best wishes to you and mrs. freak
for a great new year.

A Local friend of mine. He also welded my exhaust.
He's been doing turbo Rotaries for 15 years. He now does it on the side. I can PM you his info if you like.

On the main page, I state that I will go back to EFI in the future. Remember, My Haltech was fried, so I had to send it back to Australia. My Tuner is also behind. So this way I can drive the car for a year or so, while I work out all the other details. Then I can RE-Install the Haltech when I am ready.

Those are Cannibalized Autometer Gauges. I cut the ring off them to make the look symmetrical

The Turbo outlet points down, under the oil cooler to the intercooler (which I mounted upside down) then back on the driverside, under the oil cooler, and now runs back below the engine pullies and back up top near the waterpump outlet.

PIC HERE

12" inch each. I originally had a Black Magic 15" fan (which fit PERFECT), but it interfered with the A/C and P/S pullies. I had to get something with a lower profile.
By the way, I had to cut the sides of the radiator to make the 12"s fit. I should've gone with two 10's.

The Cage is custom designed, and Welded in. I had bracing welded in everywhere there is a contact point. It has been primered and painted already.

I didn't do an "X" bracing because it's a street car. That's also why the "kickers" are completely out of my way. With the door bars removed, you'd never know there is a cage in the car. You can even see out the wide rear-view mirror without any obstructions.

I don't have any new rims or tires - yet. The Spyder is the wifey's and it's a stock V6. We'll likely be changing it this year though, to something with more *****. Thanks for the kind words..

BTW, on some pics you have the MSD's mounted where the battery goes and other you have it in front of the radiator. Where did it end up??

With the Carb setup, I am just using two, and they are mounted were the battery used to be.

Got some pics of your ride?
I collect as many pics of Turbo FB's as I can.

Looks awesome DF... makes me want to get a 1st gen. again.

When are you going dyno it or run it at the track. Will be interesting to see what sort of numbers it pulls.
