Got Boost?
You can get a GSL-SE front, and Re-Drill them to 5 lug too. I am not sure about the Ranger axle, I don't know if it's centered, or how wide.
Seemd like the old 5.0's are an almost exact fit though.
When I am ready, I will definately talk to those who know alot more about them than I do.
BTW, Eville140 here has quite the extensive knowledge on them.

The Ranger/Explorer rear ends are staggered, using a short axle and a long axle. If you can find two of them, you can take the axle and axle housing of the short end of one, and replace the long end of the other. That makes the rear centered, and narrows it considerably. How much it narrows the rear end I can only speculate though.

370rwhp will get you better than high 11's in a FB with the right tire.
I know what you mean Alex, with the fuel pump under the drivers side storage bin it get's annoying after a while. I'm going to take my external bosch out and install a intake walbro. I'm hoping that will knock out some of the fuel pump growl. In place of the bosch FP I'm going to put a bosch fuel filter from the CIS mechanical FI cars of the 80's. I guess they have very good filter media in them because of the close tolerances of the workings of mechanical FI units.

ET is very hard to guestimate. To many factors. His MPH would be in the 119 range with 370rwhp. I would like to see his MPH # at 23psi of boost. That should put him in the 129-132mph range.
Very nice number!

This only disables the traction control, it doesn't solve the problem on the dyno.
I heard that someone hard wired the front wheel speed sensor harness to the rear WS sensors. They said this made a 20 hp increase on the dyno.
This is second hand info though, but it does make good sense.

D.F.
Was useing the stock gsl-se rear end and trans. I was easy off the line, 1st and 2nd gear. Never got around to upgrading the drive line.
As you know I moved to Japan a few months ago and bought a 87 turboII. I shipping my motor and performance stuff here ( government paid ) and it will go in the turboII very soon. With the turboII drive line I think I will be able to put all the power to the ground and get better numbers. Will see if this is true.. Not much drag racing here, lots of drifting.

DF are you going to actually switch to the Haltech? If so, are you going to post dyno numbers? I would love to see dyno numbers, at the same psi, showing the hp difference between a blowthrough setup and a fuel injection.
