Billy....

That's some good info that should be posted on your website.

To see if your line will work with TII calipers take a look at the very end of the line on the end that goes into the caliper. The attached image is not of a brake line but the fitting on the right has the INTERNAL taper needed. This is the angled portion at the end of the center hole in the fitting.

If you lines have the INTERNAL taper and does not screw all the way down before seating then they will work. If the center hole is simply flat on the end, they will not work.

I have the ST bars, F/R, on the widebody. Couldn't believe how much of a difference they made in handling. Installed those before Billy even came out with his bar.

billy, its fine. you were quick, ups wasn't.

on another note, im planning on getting demonspawn's ST? front sway bar, but we need new links for it. might have to get them from mazdatrix? or maybe billy might know something?

actually i am sure it isn't the normal ST bar, unless mazdatrix's picture is wrong

The mazdatrix pictures look like stock. IIRC, the ends on his bar were clocked 90 degrees. Some guys used to heat the ends up and rotate them in order to us rod end end links.

could someone, trochoid, post a pic of their st bar? does it have 3 different holes? i might go the route of heating it up, but would rather use what it was designed for, if i can get the links that is*

got them in.. bolted the brakes back in, called it a day. BTW i have some parts that i took off from the swap. se hubs & rotors, pads, se crossmember and engine mount, stock se softlines. think that's about it.

changing the lines only took me an hour. i'm pretty stupid at brakes haha. took my gf to go shopping. so now she's happy. gotta keep her happy so that she doesn't force me to sell the car >.>

There has got to be an underlying issue. Calipers are calipers when it comes to bleeding the system. Can you just not get all the air out or can you not push fluid through? If the master cylinder has a bad seal it can continue to introduce air into the system.

that's what i was thinking.

actually we are able to get the rears to bleed fine, but when we went to the front that was when we had trouble. so i guess it could be the master. or do i have to rebuild the calipers? i'm going to see what carquest can get me.

i was very frustrated. its been almost 1 month since i started, and i'm really really itching to drive it. when i'm pumping it, it seems like air is being reintroduced into the system

Oh...are the calipers used? They may need a rebuild. Check for leaks at the lines near the calipers, body and master cylinder connections. Calipers and the master cylinder are easy to rebuild yourself and the rebuild kits are not to much.

the rebuild kit was 50 and the rebuilt one was 57 so i went with the rebuilt one. i'm going to order the caliper rebuild kit as well.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that if the calipers aren't leaking fluid and aren't "frozen", then they should be fine. I think I would start with the MC and go from there personally. But like I said, I could be mistaken.
