sorry i was referring to the coilover sleeves. it looks like i'm missing 2 parts... some kind of plastic part. or it doesn't really matter. i havn't put any weight on the front yet. just got the wheels today, going to mount and balance tmw... gonna have the front lifted for a while until i get some real tires on it.
it looks like i'm just getting confused by an older version of the design

i'm gonna be driving down to modesto.. maybe i'll stop by stockton... its been way too long. grew up (till 15) in manteca. then moved to the bay area.
on a serious note, a friend of mine has an old ST front sway bar that i might put on my car for now, till i can afford the respeed front bar. has anyone used their rear bar? i think i will pick up an ST rear bar.

Thanks Billy, I'm learning a lot.
Heat treating the bearing part didn't really help me very much. I cleaned it off to make sure no oil or any residue was left on any parts. I then put it in my dad's oven. Unfortunately, it wouldn't let us go down to 300 so we ran it at 426? Then I made a small brick box to put the new bearing in so that it wouldn’t lose quite so much heat. I put it on the strut housing, and it only went in half way… not sure what went wrong. So we took it to the press, and pressed them in.

yeah i got them to fit, its very very tight tolerances. but i have bigger fish to fry. i was finishing up the car... bleeding the new brakes, and i either broke the master cylinder or i have bad caliper seals... I really hope i can fix it by Wednesday.
i can pump the pedal, it starts to build pressure then completely loses all pressure, it feels like its only the front... not sure.

You will need to take a peek at the end of the SS lines to be sure they are safe to use.
See 197x through 1985 all use a crush washer to seat and seal the line to the caliper body. The TII calipers wer made to accept a inverted flair to seat and seal the line. Our SS lines will serve for both style. Some other brands do not.
To see if your line will work with TII calipers take a look at the very end of the line on the end that goes into the caliper. The attached image is not of a brake line but the fitting on the right has the INTERNAL taper needed. This is the angled portion at the end of the center hole in the fitting.
If you lines have the INTERNAL taper and does not screw all the way down before seating then they will work. If the center hole is simply flat on the end, they will not work.
